Check in when you arrive
Start the visit at the actual assignment location.
Open your assigned work
Open Stakeout / PI Jobs, choose Open Assignment, and review the plan, instructions and location. Select Field Visits & Photos. Start controls appear for the assigned worker while the assignment is In Progress.

Confirm the arrival
Check the arrival address, add an optional progress note, and select the confirmation that you have arrived and will share the check-in. Choose Start Stakeout / I’m Here and allow device location access when prompted.

Check the saved visit
Confirm that Stakeout in progress and your arrival time appear. If GPS cannot be captured, enter the reason and use Start Visit without GPS. The timeline records the reported arrival with Location not captured.
Look for: Start Visit without GPS
Location is captured at the check-in and later posted events. The app does not continuously track your movement.
